About

How the Blog was Born.

I originally created this space for personal writing and memory keeping. I meant to keep it private—but I forgot to check that little box—and suddenly, I was an open book to anyone curious enough to click. It’s something I never imagined doing, but once I threw myself into blogging, I fell in love.

I started this blog in 2017. I was a competitive dancer and used the site to track my progress and build a student resume for colleges. It was my creative way of sharing who I was in school interviews. A week later, I got my first few comments. My stomach dropped—people were actually reading it. Strangers! I was mortified… but also a little thrilled. To my surprise, I didn’t mind being read.

If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve probably noticed the remodel. I like to let the site grow as I do. Don’t worry—it’s still me behind the new format.

I’ve only told a handful of people about this space. The rest of you are my internet friends, and that makes it kind of special. I don’t know what brought you here, but I’m so glad you found me.
