That’s right my friends, I didn’t click bait you this time.
He opened his laptop in the church office this morning to a certificate of funding. He passed the test and starts his new job as a funded trader in the next few days.
Remaining constantly profitable as a trader is one of the most impossible things a person could do. Well, challenge excepted.
After 3 years, 3 weeks, and 4 days of working towards funding, he did what seemed impossible. He did it. I’m so proud I could cry!
1,121 days is a long time to work for just one thing. It’s a long time to talk and think about one thing. It’s a long time to be feeling like you’re going nowhere, or to have everyone think you’re just a joke; to be “unrealistic dreamers,” to have your bank account remain the same. A long time to drive a car that started falling apart a decade ago. It’s a long time to date someone, a long time of saying no to weekend parties, and leaving work to work more. Three years of studying, analyzing, crying, learning, sobbing, falling apart, wanting to give up, getting back up, starting over, taking more courses, researching, building, brainstorming, and starting over again, again, and again. But that’s what it takes and I couldn’t be prouder.
Life is going to start now…
(March was my month to practice for funding and pass with a demo account. I’ve nearly done that and once I do, I’m opening the test to attempt funding myself. I’m comfortable with MT4, shorting, and trading forex now. It’s crazy how much you can learn in a month huh? You can learn anything if you want to and that’s the biggest lesson I’ve learned. So go, learn that thing you’ve been wanting to, nothing is as hard as it seems.
