Blogmas-Winter Skincare Routine ✨

Happy Blogmas my friends. I’ve been busy with family and friend birthday parties this weekend. Nana turned 74 and my little dude turned 7. This is the month of social events and parties. Sadly we missed one “memorable” event because my boyfriend was so sick with the same bug my kids had. Somehow, by the Grace of God I am still healthy and well. My Pastor let me use his salt breathing air thingy?! It breaks up tiny molecules of salt that you breath in for 5 min. He hasn’t been sick for 23 months because of it and he’s been in hospitals visiting people all through Covid.

My little nerd friends who click on these posts… the past few months I’ve been obsessively learning the science behind our skincare and the key active ingredients that make them the “diamonds and gems” of our skin health. It is your biggest organ, as I remind my boyfriend who could care less. If I were to go to school for anything or dream of a study to immerse myself in, it would be Dermatology. I find it so fascinating. I found one dermatoligist particular who’s posts I’m continually loving and finding helpful, her name is Dr. Shereene Idriss. She is a cosmetic dermatologist based in New York City and she makes the world a better place with her YouTube videos.

I’m finally out of my embarrassing hormonal teenage acne and into the early 20’s skin, but I wish I had found her back when I was 14 and dipping my fingers into skincare for the first time.

Over the past few months I’ve heard her recommend the same products a few times and have made a couple of purchases for my collections. I’ve loved everything she’s recommended, just go buy it all.🔥

I’m still intermittent fasting and keeping up with my Pilates workout routine. Drinking my liquid Chlorophyll every morning and Collagen. What started it all is the amazing aMAZing book Let’s Face It by: Rio Viera-Newton. Go buy this book and you’ll thank me later. (Check book outlet before you order on Amazon).

That’s all for now my beautiful friends. Little reminder. Skincare is not vanity, it is taking care of what the Lord gave you. Don’t cry over your pimples. If a boy doesn’t like you because you have acne, then he has no rite and you shouldn’t waste your thoughts.

Thanks for coming back every day this Blogmas, (even when I miss posting). BYEEEEEE
